Quite a few pre-slotta Citadel Goblins in this batch. This was the second-to-last batch of photographs I took of these miniatures prior to posting them out. At this point, they were still a bit shiny from the latest varnish.
I'd noticed at this point that one or two of them needed a touch-up here and there. That's one of the benefits of taking work-in-progress photographs of miniatures. It's easier to notice something you've missed when you're looking at a photograph that fills a PC monitor) and fixed the teeth and the skull before the next layer of varnish.
Unfortunately, time constraints meant I wasn't able to photograph the actual, finished miniatures prior to delivery. Mostly because I didn't have time to set up and dismantle the lighting rig before leaving the house. So these are the closest we have to the actual finished miniatures.

Nice work mate, I love a lot of the pre-slotta figures they have a certain charm, perhaps its nostalgia in comparison to newer figures but I still like them.
ReplyDeleteNo I agree. They have a lot of character. The technical sculpting isn't nearly as good, but they have a certain look about them.
DeleteNice work, that's a nice bright green.
